how to create boards of your own!

okay, so the idea right now is that you all can create your own boards for the musebox as you come up with your own AUs. if you look at the musebox right now, you'll see that at the moment it only has a board for the pirate babies au and a board for test driving new muses.
okay, so let's say i'm nevi and/or gottis, logging in for another day of sin. i decide to create a board for shota because i'm terrible like that.
first i log into the mod account. then i click on the admin tab underneath the forum banner.
right away you'll see a bunch of options. click on the one on the right that says "structure."
next, click "categories and boards" on the left.
this is just part of what you'll see when you open this panel.
you really shouldn't have any need to make a new category, so instead click "create new board."
this pops up!
you're creating a new board for the musebox, so scroll all the way down until you see "musebox" as an option. click the little ticker box next to it.
now click the green tab at the top that says "about."
i am still nevi and/or gottis, so i fill it out with terrible things.
now i click the "settings" tab. the ONLY thing i should change here is the option that says "default to falling." when you first create a board, this option is always on "no." but since we want these logs to read the way they would on ij, we have to tick "yes" instead.
now click on permissions. there's a lot more you'll need to edit here than in the previous tab. each and every option here should be switched from "everyone" to "members and staff."
now click on "moderators." where it says "enter a username," type in "mod" (no quotes). then click "create board."
and you're done! one that's taken care of, you might have to drag and drop the board around to get it in the right place. (the test drive should probably be underneath the established au's.) your board will be auto-saved when you're done.
